Golf has long been recognized as a sport that emphasizes the qualities of integrity, character, etiquette and philanthropy.

This year, I was again chosen to receive the Liberty National ACE Grant which helps select young golfers with the cost of their competition, travel and expenses, while also challenging them to be community-minded and others-focused. Part of this effort comes via a fundraising campaign for a charity of my choosing. This year I am choosing The Call of Marion County. Proceeds will raised will be split equally between The Call and the Liberty National ACE Grant Program so that future golfers can benefit from this same experience.

The Call of Marion County is an organization dedicated to helping foster children and families in our county. Twenty children a day enter the foster care system in Arkansas through no fault of their own. Their needs are emotional, physical, psychological, financial and spiritual. The Call stands in the gap for these children and recruits and trains families to provide the love and support the children will need.

The foster care system is close to my heart as my mom was a product of the foster care system and is a wonderful success story that has come from it. I hope you will consider joining me in supporting The Call by donating using the link on this page.
