Golf has given me so much more than the opportunity to compete. Through this game, I've learned gratitude, perseverance, humility, and how to handle success and adversity. I’m incredibly grateful for the experiences, friendships, and lessons golf has brought into my life.
Last year, however, I experienced golf and life from a different perspective when my mom was diagnosed with a meningioma and needed emergency brain surgery. My family faced one of the most difficult challenges we’ve ever encountered. The Hoag Hospital Foundation remains an important part of our lives by providing access to the treatment and rehabilitation support she needs. Seeing my mom’s strength throughout her recovery and the care she received gives me a deeper appreciation for the people and organizations that make a difference when families need it most.
Because of this experience, I am honored to support the Hoag Hospital Foundation and the Liberty National ACE Grant Program, with a goal of raising $2,000.
The American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) ACE Grant Program helps young golfers pursue their dreams by providing financial assistance to those who have the talent and passion to compete but may not have the resources to do so. It also teaches values that extend far beyond golf, like giving back, serving others, and using opportunities to make a positive impact.
Golf has opened so many doors for me, and I personally experienced how meaningful those opportunities can be. Supporting these organizations allows me to give back to a community that has given so much to me and my family. Every donation, no matter the amount, helps provide care for families facing medical challenges and creates opportunities for young athletes to pursue their goals.
Thank you for being part of this journey and for helping me make a difference. Together, we can impact lives both on and off the golf course.
