Hi Family & Friends!

I am Sophia Salonga, and I have been selected to be a part of the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) Liberty National ACE Grant program! This program helps junior golfers give back to charities that are important to us.

I would like to raise $2,000 for the Hoag Hospital Foundation and the Liberty National ACE Grant Program. Hoag Hospital provided treatment and rehabilitation support when my mom was diagnosed with a meningioma and needed emergency brain surgery. While this was a challenging time for us, I was able to have golf as my place of support. The Liberty National ACE Grant Program helps young golfers pursue their dreams by providing financial assistance to those with the talent and passion to compete but who may not have the resources to do so. It also teaches values beyond golf, like volunteering and serving others to make a positive impact.

Golf has opened so many doors for me. Through the game, I’ve learned discipline, perseverance, humility, and how to handle both success and adversity. I’m incredibly grateful for the experiences, friendships, and lessons golf has brought into my life.

Supporting these organizations allows me to give back to those who have given so much to my family and me. Every donation, no matter the amount, helps provide care for families facing medical challenges and creates opportunities for young athletes to pursue their goals.
