Watching my nana and aunt go through chemotherapy while battling breast cancer was heartbreaking, and it made me realize just how important it is to take action. I wanted to do something meaningful to support patients and families facing this fight, which is why the Morgan Pressel Breast Cancer Foundation is so important to me. Their commitment to providing screenings and support for those affected by breast cancer truly makes a difference.
Breast cancer is the second deadliest cancer for women, and one of the biggest challenges is that it often isn’t caught early enough. Many cases aren’t diagnosed until the disease has already spread, but early detection through screenings and mammograms can drastically lower the risk of death. Raising awareness about this is critical, and I want to be part of that effort.
Morgan Pressel has been a huge inspiration to me—not just as a golfer, but as someone who uses her platform to make a real impact. I first saw her play at an LPGA tournament in Palm Springs when I was six, and later that night, I happened to see her at dinner. Even though I was just a kid, she was incredibly kind when I went up to say hello. That moment stuck with me, and as I grew older and started competing in national and international junior golf events, she continued to be a role model both on and off the course.
Through the AJGA Leadership Links program, I’m committed to spreading awareness and making a real impact in the fight against breast cancer. Every bit of support helps, and I’m doing everything I can to make a difference.
My goal is to raise $10,000. The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and all donations are 100% tax-deductible. Thank you for any support you can lend!
To contribute via check, please make the check out to "AJGA - ACE Grant" and send to:
