Golf is a game that exemplifies the spirit of giving and I am so blessed to be a part of this most wonderful game. My hope is to use this game of golf that I so love to raise money for the DDX3X Foundation.
The DDX3X Foundation is an international nonprofit organization founded in 2015 to aid in the process of finding a treatment or a cure for DDX3X Syndrome. The foundation has three primary functions: support research, connect families, and raise awareness.
My older sister Sophia was diagnosed with this rare genetic condition DDX3X Syndrome in 2018 at the age of 12 years through Whole Exome Sequencing. Common symptoms include intellectual disability, developmental delays, low muscle tone/hypotonia, difficulty with speech, movement disorders, abnormalities of the brain, and microcephaly. DDX3X Syndrome was only discovered in 2015. There are currently just over 1,000 individuals diagnosed and doctors believe it is the cause of 1-3 percent of all intellectual disabilities in females. I hope that one day we will be able to achieve our ultimate goal to accelerate brain function through advances in cell and gene therapy to improve the life of my sister Sophia and the lives of those affected with DDX3X Syndrome🙏🏻

Your dollars will not only support the funding the DDX3X Foundation, but also will impact other junior golfers as well through the ACE Grant program. Your contributions will help talented junior golfers with a desire to better their life through playing junior golf and earning a college golf scholarship. These juniors lack the financial resources to compete at the national level to gain exposure to these scholarships. They need our help as well. The scholarships these juniors earn through their play change the course of their life and the life of their future family.
My goal is to raise $10,000. Would you consider making a donation and making a difference?
