72 Courses Challenge to Raise Money to Grow The Game of Golf
Jonathan Moon
Jonathan Moon
This year I am excited to take on a new version of my “72” challenge to fundraise for three junior golf programs, Liberty National ACE Grant, The First Tee, and Youth On Course dedicated to growing the game of golf for young junior golfers.
Last year, I took on a 72 day challenge where I played 9 holes for 72 consecutive days to bring awareness to junior golf programs. This year, starting in March and ending in November, I am challenging myself to play 9 holes at 72 different Youth On Course golf courses to advocate for the growth of junior golf by raising money for the Liberty National ACE Grant, The First Tee, and Youth On Course.
Youth On Course is dedicated to making golf inviting and accessible for young people over a thousand courses around North America, truly opening up opportunities to juniors. They strive to give life-changing opportunities through the game of golf and they are built on the core values of relationships, inclusion, learning, and play.
The First Tee seeks to grow the game of golf through “Building Game Changers.” Over 150 chapters around the world, the program empowers young golfers with skills that will stay with them for life.
The Liberty National ACE Grant enables young golfers to pursue their competitive golf goals. The AJGA creates a community of junior golfers where they can make new friends, improve together, and have fun at different events across the country.
At the start of each month, I will post a list of courses I will be playing for that month and hopefully, I can give some historical insights or fun facts about those courses. Throughout the month after playing one of the courses, I will post small videos.
