Hi! I'm Gabby and I am so excited to raise money for the Best Friends Animal Society and the Liberty National ACE Grant Program!
Along with my passion for golf, I also love animals. From dogs to cats, from birds to squirrels, they all have a special place in my heart. The Best Friends Animal Society strives to end the killing of animals in shelters just because they didn't have a place to call home and shelters didn't have the resources to save them. Each year, nearly 4 million dogs are abandoned and given up to shelters, and in 2023 alone, 380,000 cats and dogs were euthanized. By 2025, Best Friends hopes to make the entire nation's shelters no-kill. Best Friends partners with thousands of shelters nationwide, and operates the nation's largest no-kill sanctuary for companion animals! Their story deeply motivates me as a dog owner. My heart would break to see my pup get euthanized just because nobody was willing to get adopted. And it's not just dogs and cats; bunnies, birds, horses, pigs, snakes, and more are saved everyday because of Best Friends! For more information, please visit bestfriends.org
The AJGA's ACE(Achieving Competitive Excellence) Grant Program helps junior golfers who have the skill and passion play at the highest level, but lack the financial resources to do so. It has helped so many golfers(and still does!) around the country to be able to play in tournaments and receive scholarships for college golf. All donations will be split 50/50 between Best Friends Animal Society and the AJGA Ace Grant.
