Raising money for the Saint Simons Cup
Seth Henry
Seth Henry
I’m excited and honored to share that I’ve been selected to compete in the St. Simons Cup with the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA). This is a really special opportunity for me, and I’m grateful for the chance to be part of something bigger than just a tournament.
As part of this event, I’ve been given a fundraising goal of $1,000, which will be donated to First Tee of Golden Isles and the AJGA Liberty National Ace Grant. Together, the junior golfers involved will work to raise $30,000 to support these organizations.
I’m especially thankful because I’ve personally been a recipient of the Liberty National Ace Grant. This grant helped make it possible for me to compete this past summer at a high level of junior golf across the country—from nearby states like Alabama to places as far away as California and Michigan. Without that support, many of those opportunities wouldn’t have been possible for me.
I truly believe God has given me opportunities, resources, and people in my life who have helped me grow—not just as a golfer, but as a person. This fundraiser is my way of giving back and trusting God by using what He’s given me for His glory and to help other junior golfers in the years ahead.
The St. Simons Cup is a junior-led fundraising tournament that started in 2024 and is part of the AJGA’s Cobra PUMA State Cup Series. It features 27 holes of competition played through three 9-hole matches. This year, we’re thankful to be hosted by Plantation Golf Course at Sea Island, home of the PGA TOUR’s RSM Classic.
My personal goal is to raise $1,000, and I would be extremely grateful for any support you’re willing to give.
If you’d like to contribute by check, please make checks payable to “AJGA – St. Simons Cup” and mail them to:
American Junior Golf Association
1980 Sports Club Drive
Braselton, GA 30517
(Please include my name in the memo line.)
Thank you so much for your encouragement, support, and prayers.
Sincerely,
Seth Henry
