This May 18th, I have the privilege of participating in the 4th Annual Philly Cup at Merion Golf Club. This is a fundraiser by Philadelphia Area high school golfers for worthy charities such as Horizons of Episcopal Academy, the Middle Atlantic Blind Golf Association, and the Liberty National ACE Grant Program. Each individual competitor has been asked to raise $1,000 in order to participate in the tournament. 100% of all funds raised will be spread amongst these three charities.

This opportunity has special meaning to me as one of my dear friends and golf mentors went blind a few years ago. To honor his support of me, I will be playing a “Blind 9” where I will play golf blindfolded for 9 holes while attempting to break 50. My Dad will be my caddie, driving me around and lining up all my shots. If I don’t break 50 it will be his fault! I will be conducting this challenge in late April/early May.

If you would be interested in supporting my fundraising effort, I would be extremely grateful. I am looking forward to both these events. I wish you the best on and off the course this 2025!
