Raising money for the AJGA's Northern California Cup

Hello everyone! I'm Arden Xu, a rising senior at Crystal Springs Uplands School, and I am excited to announce that I will be fundraising in partnership with the Northern California Cup, raising money for the Lake Merced Golf Club Foundation, Hearts Alive Village, and the AJGA's Liberty National ACE Grant Program!
1. What is the Northern California Cup?
Part of the AJGA's (American Junior Golf Association) Cobra PUMA State Cup Series, the Northern California State Cup is a unique junior golf tournament that not only provides a competitive environment for aspiring D1 college golfers, but also acts as a fundraiser for underprivileged youth, allowing charities and athletes to succeed at a high level together!
2. Who benefits from this event?
The Liberty National ACE Grant is a financial assistance program operated by the American Junior Golf Association, and it is one of the most well-known and respected initiatives from the AJGA.
The ACE Grant benefits underprivileged junior golfers with aspirations to play in collegiate golf, but lack the financial resources to do so. Traveling to elite junior golf tournaments around the US can be very expensive, with air fares, hotel costs, buying food, and renting cars all factoring into the equation. With the ACE Grant, golf has become financially accessible for thousands of aspiring collegiate golfers. Many ACE Grant recipients have become prominent D1 college players, PGA Tour Professionals, and PGA Tour winners.
In 2015, Smylie Kaufman became the first ACE Grant alumni to win a PGA Tour Event, the Shriners Hospital for Children Open.
Throughout my tournaments around the nation, I have met countless extraordinary golfers that, with the help of ACE Grant, were able to attend national-level tournaments, enabling them to earn golf scholarships to major Division 1 golf programs such as Stanford, UC Berkeley, and Virginia Tech.
Many major companies and athletes such as Rolex, HP, Jordan Spieth, and Justin Thomas have contributed and supported the ACE Grant program. Their donations, along with many others, have helped more than 3,000 participants earn more than $15 Million in college scholarships.
