I am writing to invite you to be able to participate in helping to develop the futures of young athlete, providing welfare for needy animals and a youth golf program at Lake Merced Golf Club. On September 26-27 I will be participating along with around 24 junior golfers at TPC Harding Park for the AJGA(American Junior Golf Association) Northern California Cup.
Part of the AJGA's Cobra PUMA State Cup Series, this State Cup is a unique junior golf tournament providing competitive junior golfers development in important life skills such a charitable giving, leadership, and teamwork. We are trying to collect 2000 dollars by the end of august to support junior golfers from all backgrounds.
This 24-player Ryder Cup style tournament will be conducted at TPC Harding Park on September 26th-27th. We are excited to support a number of great charities; here is a little more about each one.
AJGA’s ACE Grant Program
The ACE Grant program is dedicated to helping junior golfers with the ability to play golf at the national level but lack the financial resources to do so.
Hearts Alive Village:
A nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of pets and the people who love them. Through animal rescue, adoptions, affordable veterinary care, a pet food bank, and community support programs, Hearts Alive Village works to keep pets healthy, safe, and in loving homes. Their mission is to prevent unnecessary pet homelessness and euthanasia while strengthening the bond between families and their animals. Every donation helps provide lifesaving care, resources, and second chances for pets in need.
Lake Merced Golf Club Foundation:
The charitable arm of Lake Merced Golf Club, dedicated to expanding the positive impact of the game of golf through philanthropy, education, and community engagement. The Foundation supports initiatives that create meaningful opportunities, strengthen local communities, and use golf as a platform to inspire leadership, personal growth, and service. Every donation helps further the Foundation's mission of making a lasting difference both on and off the golf course.
My goal is to raise $2,000. I would very much appreciate your generous donation and understanding for the causes noted above
To contribute via check, please make out to "AJGA - Northern California Cup" and send to:

(Please also include my name in the memo line)
Sincerely,
