Raising money for charity - The Mason Cup
Mary Clayton Rodgers
Mary Clayton Rodgers
Hi everyone!
I’m raising money for two amazing causes, and I would love your support! Later this year, I’ll be participating in the Mason Cup, a special event that raises money for the Mason Goodnight Foundation and the AJGA Liberty National ACE Grant.
It is the 9th year of the Mason Cup at The Club at Olde Stone, and it has become one of the top junior golf events in Kentucky. I am one of 32 golfers that will be playing in a Ryder Cup-style tournament with teams made up of 8 girls and 8 boys. It’s always a great experience, and this year we’re hoping to raise $60,000 together!
Mason Goodnight was from Bowling Green and loved golf. He sadly passed away in 2017, and this event helps keep his memory alive while supporting kids in the Bowling Green community. The Liberty National Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant helps young golfers who dream of earning a college golf scholarship by providing financial assistance for competitive junior golf.
I’ve been challenged to raise at least $1,250, but I’ve challenged myself to reach $3,000. Any amount would mean so much to me and would help support these incredible causes.
If you would like to donate by check, please make it payable to the American Junior Golf Association and include my name in the memo section. Checks can be mailed to:
AJGA – Mason Cup
1980 Sports Club Drive
Braselton, GA 30517
Thank you so much for your support and generosity. I truly appreciate it!
Sincerely,
Mary Clayton
