Raising money for charity - The Mason Cup
Carter Lankford
Carter Lankford
I am raising money for two great causes, will you support me? I will be participating in the Mason Cup! This event will raise money for the Mason Goodnight Foundation and the AJGA's Liberty National ACE Grant.
This is the 7th year for this event at The Club at Olde Stone and it's become one of the best junior golf events in Kentucky. I will be playing with 31 of my friends in a Ryder Cup style event, teams made up of 8 girls and 8 boys. It's so much fun, the golf is great, and we hope to raise $60,000 as a group this year!
Mason Goodnight lived here in Bowling Green. He was a great kid who like me, played golf. He tragically passed away in 2017 so we raise money to keep his memory alive and help other kids around Bowling Green with the money we raise. The Liberty National Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant provides financial assistance to young men and women who aspire to earn a college golf scholarship through competitive junior golf.
I have been challenged to raise at least $1,250 but I hope to raise more, would you consider helping me?
If you would like to send a check, please write the check to the American Junior Golf Association and make sure to include my name in the memo section. Please mail to:

Thank you in advance for any support you can give.
Sincerely,
Carter Lankford
