I am grateful to my friends and fellow junior golfers who joined me for the inaugural AJGA Cobra PUMA Keystone State Cup on August 15 and 16 at the Club at Nevillewood. Together with the support of more than 350 individual and corporate donors, we raised nearly $55,000 to benefit the Nicklaus Foundation, TEN Memorial and ACE Grant!

Hello! I'm Henry Manciu, a 16-year-old junior and varsity athlete at Canon McMillan High School using my passion for golf to give back! I admire the golfing legend Jack Nicklaus who said, "There is no better exercise for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up!"
I am grateful for your support as I raise funds for the Jack and Barbara Nicklaus Children's Health Care Foundation, the TEN Memorial and the Liberty National Ace Grant. The Nicklaus Foundation supports programs focused on the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of childhood illnesses. The TEN Memorial builds character and leadership in young people through golf events centered on the four pillars of youth, golf, faith and education. The Liberty National Ace Grant helps junior golfers who need financial assistance to compete in elite tournaments with the goal of winning college scholarships.
In 2025, good people from all over the community helped me raise just over $9,000 for great causes! There are several ways to support me.
1) Make a donation, just because. Every donation, no matter the size, encourages me and makes a difference.
2) Sign up for a simulator session at my Canonsburg home. Choose from hundreds of golf courses around the world on the Skytrak simulator! Up to three golfers to make a foursome with me! Suggested donation: $25 for one hour or 18 holes on the sim - whichever is longer. If you beat me, your round is FREE! I also offer 45-minute coaching sessions for junior golfers which include simulator time plus chipping and putting on my five-hole putting green with Golden Bear turf. I'll have a booth at the Kids Market with a huge inventory of gently used golf clubs, golf bags, golf balls and golf apparel. My goal is to grow the game in our community while raising funds for the charity junior golf tournament I'm planning for August 15 and 16. Donations in ANY AMOUNT are gratefully accepted. Come stock up on golf gear and pay what you want. Thank you for your support!
4) On August 15 and 16, 2026, I'll be hosting an AJGA PUMA state cup junior golf event at my favorite golf course, the Jack Nicklaus-designed Club at Nevillewood. I'll be inviting the best junior golfers from our area to compete, have fun in a Ryder Cup format, and raise funds for great causes! Interested in sponsorship opportunities? The Club at Nevillewood is my favorite golf course in the world! I am grateful to Cory Livingston, Head Golf Professional, the Board of Directors and the golf committee for generously donating the championship course for our two-day event. Everyone at Nevillewood was so welcoming to our junior golfers and their families, and every player in the Keystone State Cup was excited and honored for the opportunity to play this iconic Nicklaus signature golf course. THANK YOU, NEVILLEWOOD!
Thank you to Niko Ameredes and Benjamin Roethlisberger for serving as team captains at the inaugural Keystone State Cup. They were the youngest players in the field and showed great leadership. They named and fielded the teams, helped pick the tournament format, planned and ran the Saturday night putting contest and motivated their teammates throughout the competition. I hope they will continue the Keystone State Cup after I graduate in 2028. Katie Lamfers, Manager of the AJGA Foundation, traveled from Atlanta to Pittsburgh for our event. She helped us secure the course, arrange the luncheon, inspire donations and plan the competition. She encouraged all 24 junior golfers and their families every step of the way and is a huge reason for the success of the Keystone State Cup. THANK YOU, MS. LAMFERS!!!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by my booth at Community Day at North Strabane Park on August 1! My goal was to grow the game of golf in my town while raising money for great causes. Donations totaled $280 and we gave out tons of FREE golf clubs, golf bags, golf balls and golf apparel to kids (and adults)! My dad said I had to get all of my leftover inventory out of our garage so he could get his car back in there, so this was my solution. It was great seeing old friends and meeting new ones. Golf brings people together!
