I am excited to announce that I will be participating in the Georgia Junior Cup charity event at the Atlanta Athletic Club on February 10-11.
The Georgia Junior Cup is a team fundraising event founded in 2021 by brothers Maxwell and David Ford (both currently playing on the UNC men's golf team). Now in it's third year, the event returns to the Atlanta Athletic Club. The event will raise money for three 501(c)3 entities...The Hidden Opponent, the AJGA's Liberty National ACE Grant, and the Atlanta Athletic Club's Heritage Foundation.
The Hidden Opponent is an advocacy group working to eliminate the stigma on high school and college campuses around mental health issues and provide resources for student-athletes. The AJGA's ACE grant program helps fund the dreams of talented junior golfers who need financial assistance to compete in national junior golf tournaments to earn college golf scholarships. The AAC Heritage Foundation aims to procure, exhibit, and celebrate the clubs rich history in golf.
Twenty-eight junior golfers like myself are fundraising and will compete in the event on Saturday and Sunday (Feb. 10-11). Younger junior golfers at the AAC will also be paired up with the older junior golfers for a fun-filled nine hole competition.
My goal is to raise $1,500. Thank you for any support you can lend!
