I am excited to tell you I am playing in the 7th Annual Florida Sunshine Cup from October 17-19, 2025, at Mayacoo Lakes Country Club in West Palm Beach, Florida.
As someone who loves the game of golf, this tournament is a big deal to me—not just because I get to compete, but because it is a chance to grow as a person and give back. Golf has taught me so much about staying focused and working hard, and now I am excited to use that passion to support an amazing cause.
This event raises money for two charities that are important to me. First, there’s the Nicklaus Children's Health Care Foundation, started by Jack and Barbara Nicklaus in 2004 after their daughter Nan needed serious medical care as a baby.
That experience pushed them to help kids all over the world, and they’ve raised over $125 million for Nicklaus Children’s Hospital and programs to diagnose, treat, and prevent childhood illnesses.
Recently, I read about a boy named Lucky, born pre-maturely 11 years ago. The Foundation helped get him specialized therapies that changed his life—he is now a happy, thriving kid. Knowing my swings could help kids like Lucky get the care they need inspires me up to play my best.
We’re also supporting the AJGA’s Liberty National ACE Grant Program, which helps junior golfers who love the game but do not have the financial resources to compete at big events like this. I know how lucky I am to chase my dreams on the course, and I would love to help other kids get that same opportunity.
