About the Arizona Cup
The Arizona Cactus Cup is a team fundraising event founded in 2022 through a partnership between Grayhawk Golf Club, the Miller Family, and the American Junior Golf Association. This year the 3rd annual tournament will be hosted by Jack Langbein at Grayhawk Golf Club on June 28th and 29th. The Ryder Cup-style event will raise money for The AJGA's Liberty National ACE Grant Program and the Junior Golf Association of Arizona. We are excited to invite the top 24 junior golfers around Scottsdale, AZ. Congratulations on being invited to this year's State Cup!
Junior Golf Association of Arizona:
Liberty National ACE Grant:
Since 2003, the AJGA's ACE Grant program has funded the dreams of talented junior golfers who needed financial assistance to compete in national junior golf tournaments to earn college golf scholarships. The ACE Grant program is dedicated to helping junior golfers with the ability to play golf at the national level but lack the financial resources to do so.
Entry Fee:
While there is no entry fee to play in this tournament, every junior is responsible to raise at least $1,500 to be donated to these charities.
Junior Golf Association of Arizona:
Founded in 1983, the Junior Golf Association of Arizona (JGAA) is a non-profit organization that introduces Arizona’s youth to the game of golf and helps junior golfers develop golf and life skills through competitive programs and tournaments. In addition to developing programs at schools and assisting Arizona golf courses with their junior programs, the JGAA conducts more than 100 programs and activities, including etiquette clinics, tournaments, and college prep seminars throughout Arizona each year. The JGAA awards two scholarship funds annually to high school senior members of the JGAA for their college education – the Tres Arnold and the John Wolfinger Memorial College Scholarships. Celebrating its 30th Anniversary in 2013, JGAA’s strong belief in teamwork and cooperation continues to guide the organization and is instilled in all of its members.
