HELLO!!
I’m a rising Senior in high school and I’m aspiring to be a college golfer. Golf has presented me with a lot of terrific opportunities (e.g., Competed in a PGA event – PURE Championship, captain of my high school golf team, traveling to out-of-state tournaments, and more). And because of these successes in my life – I want to give back.
I’m trying to raise money for First Tee Greater Seattle and Liberty National ACE Grant.
The money will go to…help grow the game of golf in our local community - through the First Tee Greater Seattle. And in case you weren’t aware, I continue to be an active First Tee member.
Through Liberty National ACE Grant - your donated dollars will also…help provide financial assistance to young men and women who also aspire to earn a college golf scholarship through competitive junior golf.
Competitive golf is expensive. Unfortunately, not everyone can afford the time, tournament registration costs, and travel costs. The money will help these competitors immensely.
This is the 4th consecutive year that I’ve been fundraising for these programs. I’ve raised approximately $8,000 over the past 3 years and this year I’m hoping to reach/exceed $10k in donation money.
This year is extremely special -- not only will this likely be my last year to fundraise – I’m also helping to organize a golf charity event -- "The Washington Cup" at Sahalee Country Club – to be played October 7th – 8th. All are welcomed to watch the inaugural event!!.
The Washington Cup will bring together junior golfers from across Washington state to compete in a Ryder Cup style event.
Each participant will commit to raising money. As a collective group we have a goal to raise $50k dollars.
Proceeds will be split to benefit the First Tee Greater Seattle and the Liberty National ACE Grant program.
Can you support me in raising money for these wonderful programs?
The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and all donations are 100% tax-deductible. Thank you for any support you can lend!
