Golf is a game that exemplifies the spirit of giving and I am so blessed to be a part of this most wonderful game. My hope is to use this game of golf to raise money for the Greater Scranton YMCA (Dunmore, PA location) and the ACE Grant.

The Greater Scranton YMCA is a non-profit organization whose mission aims to aid the community by building a healthy spirit, mind, and body.

I selected the Greater Scranton YMCA because I aspire to be an endocrinologist focusing on diabetes. My family has been impacted by diabetes. Greater Scranton YMCA states that approximately "88 million American adults (more than 1 in 3) have prediabetes but less than 16 percent know they have the condition. In addition to the high risk of developing type 2 diabetes, people with prediabetes are also at risk of developing other chronic diseases such as heart disease and stroke. Without weight loss and moderate physical activity, 15 to 30 percent of people with prediabetes will develop type 2 diabetes within five years".

Having a healthy spirit, mind, and body is essential for diabetics and preventing diabetes. It is my hope to add additional awareness and support to the Greater Scranton YMCA and make a strong impact upon their diabetes wellness programs.

Additionally, your donation will not only support the funding of the Greater Scranton YMCA, but it will also impact other junior golfers through the ACE Grant program. Your contributions will help talented junior golfers with a desire to better their life through playing junior golf and earning a college golf scholarship. The scholarships these juniors earn through their play change the course of their life and the life of their future family.

My goal is to raise $10,000 by the end of my 2022 golf season. Would you consider making a donation and making a difference?

There are several ways to contribute:

1. You can follow my golf tournaments and donate via a "birdie challenge".

For every birdie I make in a tournament, you donate a selected amount in which you are comfortable with contributing.

To do this option, click on Donate and select the "Make a Pledge per Birdie".

2. You can make a one-time donation with your credit card by clicking Donate!

* A suggestion is to follow one of my tournaments and donate based upon the number of pars made.

For example, a round of golf is 18 holes, so you can sponsor $1/par. Therefore, if I make 15 pars, you donate $15.

3. You may also send a check to the American Junior Golf Association and make sure to include my name in the memo section. Please mail to:

Thank you in advance for any support you can lend.
